Interesting Pick Percentage Stats
Ken Angel Jr. has the high pick percentage for 2023 (67%). The record high pick percentage average (84%) was set by Chris Auer in 2007.
The average pick percentage for all players this year is 49%, which is a new low for this pool. The old low was 52% set in 2022 and 2021. Either we are getting dumber or there is more parity in the NCAA Division 1.
The high combined pick percentage average (67%) was set in 2007. The 23 year combined pick percentage average is 58%.
In spite of the number of upsets in the First Round, the maximum amount of First Round Underdog Points awarded this year is only 56 points.
Bottom Feeder, our perennial loser who picks the Underdog in every matchup, scored 47 Underdog Points in 2023. The record amount of Underdog Points, 71, was awarded to Bottom feeder in 2016.
This year Nora Unger scored the most Underdog Points for an eligible player, 32.
The record for most Underdog Points scored by an eligible player is 66. Cindy Hebel set this record in the 2012 tournament.

A few family members and friends tell me they do not receive my email invitation to join the tournament. Email invitations are sent to everyone who played the previous year so please update your email address if it changed since the previous tournament. Invitations could also be identified as Spam by some email providers. There is nothing I can do on my end to fix this issue, but it might help if you add my email address, pkjett1@gmail.com, to your email provider's "Safe Senders List."
Please remember that all Jett and Sicking families, relatives, friends, co-workers and their friends and family are invited to play, even if you do not receive an email invitation.
